Suzanne Christie Named Franchise Owner of the Year

Suzanne Christie, owner of Decorating Den Interiors in Clearwater, Florida, has been honored with the prestigious Franchise Owner of the Year award, the highest business recognition presented by Decorating Den Interiors. The award was announced during the company’s ELEVATE AND EVOLVE 2026 Conference in Reno, Nevada.

The Franchise Owner of the Year award recognizes an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership, outstanding business management, and excellence in design. Suzanne’s selection reflects not only her remarkable business success but also her longstanding commitment to her clients, fellow franchise owners, and the Decorating Den Interiors organization.

Celebrating 30 years as a franchise owner, Suzanne has consistently ranked among the top 25 percent of Decorating Den Interiors franchisees nationwide for sales performance. Throughout her career, she has earned 11 international design awards, and her work has been featured in numerous national publications.

“What an outstanding legacy Suzanne has created,” said Sue Pelley, Vice President of Retail Sales for Decorating Den Interiors. “She not only operates a very successful business, but has enjoyed the loyalty and respect of hundreds of happy clients. Additionally, her franchise peers held her in such high esteem that they elected her to serve them for three years as chairperson of the company’s franchise-led nine-member Leadership Council.”

Pelley also noted Suzanne’s significant contributions to the organization through her participation on company focus groups and advisory initiatives.

“Her wisdom, outgoing personality, and business knowledge have made her the perfect choice for Franchise Owner of the Year,” Pelley added.
