Coastal Sun Room

My client’s beach house became her residence when she sold the main house. We decorated with a coastal feel throughout but in this sun room she wanted to mix contemporary with the coastal design.

Project Overview:

This cozy yet open cocktail area was created to merge contemporary and coastal together creating a space to sip cocktails and enjoy the spectacular view in this wonderful sun room. Havana woven chairs and sleek upholstered chairs share bright coral and aqua fabric. The wicker bar is close by to keep the cocktails and sunsets flowing.

Coastal Sun Room

My client’s retirement beach house had a coastal feel but in this sun room she wanted to mix contemporary with the coastal design. Because the space was small and meant for vacations, a complete remodel expanded and updated the room with larger windows and sliding doors.

Four comfortable chairs were chosen to solicit good conversation while allowing everyone to view the water. The chair ensemble provides flexibility but doesn’t take up too much space. Two woven wood chairs bring the beach feel indoors, and coordinates with the wicker bar and barstools. We chose a cheerful Paisley fabric in corals and aqua to cover the cushions. The other two chairs were upholstered in a bright coral repeating the same fabric.

The espresso cocktail table was chosen for its simple, clean contemporary lines to provide a space to put drinks down while enjoying the wonderful sunsets.
